Benjamin, I want to apologize for my reactions to your post this day. I don't mean to disrespect your sacrifice in the name of what you believe. It's only difficult for me seeing both sides of this issue ignore the actual solution, which is to revise the system that profits from all this chaos in the first place. It's so twisted. Children in schools, and the adults they become, rarely join the ranks of , banking families, royalty, etc. These aren't the people making decisions that affect the world. They're just people, who stress too much about survival and being liked to contemplate war as an activity in the first place. But there are always those who respond differently, people like you, who may care so much about everyone else that you'll get involved to do "the right thing". If you're lucky, you make it out alive. How many times has America been caught using their military for personal gain? They go around reshuffling how other countries operate, placing their own figureheads at the top and then fight them too. To them, the lives of soldiers means nothing. The military budget is huge, the education budget is much smaller, the math is that straightforward.
