Hey, I just wanted to clarify, I know language isn't the only factor at play here, that would be ridiculous. But I'm saying language affects perception, and reducing humanity to two groups is the most straightforward path to creating an 'us vs. them' dichotomy. There being a noticeable difference between both sides (in this case, skin colour, dumbed down to a single quality, whether it's closer to one end of the spectrum or the other) just makes it that much easier for them. And they already knew it wouldn't be hard, because humans have very deeply ingrained and exploitable fears, with strangers already being one of them.
