I like to walk. Amazon Audible has over twenty-three full DAYS of listening time just from me since 2018. That's more than five hundred and fifty-two hours, or thirty-three thousand minutes. Fuck, I use it while cooking, cleaning the house, watering the garden, even sometimes while smoking weed.

The current Medium narrator-bot isn't horrible, but I don't enjoy using it.

If personal narrations were payed, more people would do them, and people like me would be on Medium more. Plus, we'd probably see a new age for voice-actors. Just a little bonus, organically creating new jobs!

Point being, this idea is fire, and I hope we all get to see it go somewhere soon.

I'm also super curious what's everything they've got going on that attracting the large podcast/radio/audiobook listening community felt low-priority.

It's exciting.
