I tell them to wrap their minds around an image of infinity, point out how much empty space supposedly exists, bring up that we can't know the undetectable isn't there, that anything could be real that we can't see, and leave them at really not having a clue what is.
Especially since everyone today is ready to accept the idea of other dimensions. The challenge is to get them to see how other 'dimensions' aren't to mean 'alternate universes'. Dimensions are as the hardware and software of a computer, all working together to give us that final, conscious, user experience. Some being may easily perceive a different form of life through their own dimensional sets.
Who knows what happens beyond our realm of detection.
At minimum, this general playthrough creates initiates to a future faith of their choosing.
If we continue to speak further, I'll get into the pivot point of karmic balances, because they're probably going to pick something that doesn't feature the Christian Heaven and Hell, but everyone can still use a good moral guide, just incase.
If we perceive, then it's safe to assume others perceive, and for that reason alone we should treat them with love and respect as we would want for ourselves.
