I'm not a great believer in copyright laws, or bending to the fragile egos of creators, but then I'm also original as I can be with my actual work (writing, not art), so I'm unbothered. It's just a shame, billions of years of universal evolution, and generations of human progress, pupils standing on the backs of their masters, and often, of the less privileged classes of society... leading us to this gift, this superpower for anyone to create anything with ease, while copyright laws mosy just achieve allowing the same ideas to be recycled repeatedly by the same people who did nothing to invent the concepts in the first place...
