It isn't an easy issue to fix, that's for sure. The death penalty makes the most sense, otherwise such people become society's responsibility, but then that turns the rest of us into murderers as well. Who'll stand as council for what is or isn't a good reason to kill others? Who chooses what qualifies as deranged?
We already know civilization is designed to spit out at least some broken people, at which point do we change everything to prevent these cases from ever becoming possible?
How deeply can we alter life as people have always known it before a new class of 'freedom fighters' comes about?
Chaos exists in everything; without darkness, there's no room for light. If we fixed everything, then we'll have shuffled the home of evil, but no more.
The best we can do is counter the darkness with our own light, to accept it as it comes, to convert it into brightness however we can, however we are meant to.
I pray for the mental health of these poor relatives of all murdered men, women, and children. Nothing can bring back their loved ones, but the living can always be okay.
I pray for these poor deranged souls, that they may heal, or be released from their pain, in life or in death.
I pray for the lives of anyone who has ever lived in fear for the horrors of Existence. May they refocus their minds where the light shines most brightly, to be anchored against the waves of dark, to pierce victoriously through in the name of all goodness.
Negativity begets negativity, chaos drives chaos.
Want healing for all, and never hate. Nothing is achieved by consciously falling to the lowest levels of our potential.
A perfect solution is unable to exist without a dark side. But where there's an opportunity, we can control this darkness.
Peace be with you all 🙏🙏
