I've silenced several bustling chatrooms in my time, for 24-48 hours at the longest... Most notably in recent years, there was the Outlaw-Mudshow Wrestling Fb group, and a Slack group for Anja Winter's students of the German language. Never intentionally, but I count them as successes anyway.
