'Neurospicy' is a wonderful term! Loving this article, not done reading yet—

I've long believed my mother and I to share symptoms of autism, but she'd never accept the idea, and I don't care enough (or trust the medical system enough) to find out. Plus, considering the complexity of the human brain and certain abusive patterns in my family's history, our problems could be from anything.

As a child, eye contact would make me anxious and I'd tear up, but I forced it in all sorts of situations because I felt it meant something, and now it just makes me mildly uncomfortable after a couple seconds. It's too much connection. Physical contact is fine in a romantic setting, but otherwise can make me twitchy. I used to have difficulties with differentiating many people's faces, but now that's rare, especially if I have more information to tie in with them. Little things, mostly.

Best thing to do for anyone is to accept ourselves as we are and to set goals for the way we want to become. 🖤🙏I expect to fail in some ways, to succeed in others, and all around intend to enjoy life for as long as it's an opportunity.

Okee, done my mid-read ramble. 😂
