Technically, hobbies count as anything you enjoy doing regularly to pass the time. I could also see myself fumbling because of that distinction, probably end up explaining why some things should be on the list but can't be, eventually devolve into a speech on the limited capacities for one to express themselves in English... followed by a drawn-out confession that I barely use any other language anyway, leading into how language learning was a long-time hobby before it started feeling like a chore, which ends up being about how smart of an idea it is to pair chores with hobbies to make them feel less like chores, something which can have the adverse effect if one isn't careful. Next thing you know, your hobbies have all become chores, and the question they're asking is only a nuisance.
